April 22, 2002 BONES Comic Commentary:
In 1995 I had the idea to revive my comics on the
web. I only had a simple school account at college
to work with, so I didn't have CGI access or my own
domain name or anything fancy like that, nor did I
have good graphics tools. So I was going to try for
a simplistic "talking heads" thing. I didn't get
far, only making about 18 simple "jokes" as such,
but I think the skulls themselves turned out great
considering I was working with a DOS-only 256-color
graphics editor. I know I was working on posting these
to the web in '95, but it's possible that some of
the artwork may have dated back another year or three. |
